Only the strong survive in this unique 12-hour endurance event. Starting at 7:00 PM on October 4th, runners have one hour to complete a 4.17-mile loop. Return to the start, recover, and be ready to go again at the next hour's bell. The fastest runner to complete the last loop is crowned champion.
Experience the primal thrill of night trail running during Hunter's Moon Howl, an 8-hour journey under October's super full moon, the brightest full moon of autumn. From 10:30 PM to 6:30 AM, participants traverse a moonlit path, completing as many laps as possible.
Take on our 4-mile loop (12 minutes per mile pace) at any of these start times:
Each Express challenge has the same simple goal - complete the loop within one hour. Run fast, jog steady, or power hike - your approach is up to you, but the clock is always ticking.
The Twilight Express is perfect for those looking to test their night running skills without committing to a full overnight event. It's also ideal for crew members wanting to join the adventure, speedsters seeking a time challenge, or runners curious about nighttime trail experiences.
Same course as our main events with full aid station support. Choose just one Express or challenge yourself with multiple attempts throughout the night!
